Compressor Condenser Hose Assembly
Compressor Condenser Hose Assembly
Remove or Disconnect
1. Recover refrigerant.
2. Air cleaner and duct assembly.
3. Compressor line at accumulator.
4. Compressor line at condenser.
5. Raise and suitably support vehicle (3800 Only).
6. Hose assembly at compressor.
7. Hose assembly.
Important

Remove and discard all used O-rings and sealing washers.
Install or Connect
1. Hose assembly.
2. Hose assembly at rear of compressor, using new sealing washers.
Tighten

Nut and/or Bolt to 33 N.m (24 lb. ft.).
3. Lower vehicle (3800 only).
4. Line to condenser with mounting bolt.
Tighten

Nut to 16 N.m (11 lb. ft.).
5. Line at accumulator with mounting bolt.
Tighten
^
Nut to 16 N.m (11 lb. ft.).
6. Air cleaner and duct assembly.
7. Evacuate, recharge, and leak test system.
