Seat Belt Retractor: Service and Repair
Driver Seat Retractor Side Belt Replacement
Sedan
Description
1. Open the seat belt guide loop cover.
2. Remove the guide loop nut.
3. Remove the guide loop from the guide adjuster bracket.
4. Remove the center pillar lower trim. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel in Doors.
5. Remove the intermediate guide bolts.
6. Remove the anchor plate nut from the seat stud.
7. Remove the anchor plate from the seat stud.
8. Remove the retractor side belt bolt.
9. Remove the retractor side belt from the center pillar.
Coupe
1. Remove the rear seat cushion and the seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back in Seats and Carpet.
2. Remove the rear window trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Trim Panel in Body Rear End.
3. Open the guide loop cover.
4. Remove the guide loop bolt.
5. Remove the guide loop from the quarter upper trim panel.
6. Remove the quarter upper trim finish panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim in Rear Quarters.
7. Remove the quarter lower trim finish panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Trim in Rear Quarters.
8. Remove the intermediate guide.
9. Remove the anchor plate nut from the seat stud.
10. Remove the anchor plate from the seat stud.
11. Remove the retractor side belt bolt.
12. Remove the retractor side belt from the center pillar.
