Generator Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

The CS130D generator is serviced as a complete unit only.

CAUTION:  Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

CAUTION:  Refer to SIR Handing Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the battery ground (negative) cable from the battery terminal.
2. Remove the drive belt from the generator.
3. Remove the bolts from the generator.
4. Remove the electrical connector from the generator.

5. Loosen the generator front and rear braces at the engine intake manifold.
6. Remove the nut and the battery positive lead from generator output BAT terminal.
7. Remove the generator.
