Power Steering Line/Hose: Service and Repair
Power Steering Pump Inlet Hose (Return Line)

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Raise and suitably support vehicle. Refer to VEHICLE LIFTING.
2. Place drain pan under vehicle to catch any power steering fluid that may drain.
3. Clamps from reservoir and cooler tube.
4. Power steering hose.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Power steering hose.
2. Clamps to reservoir and cooler tube.
3. Remove drain pan from under vehicle.
4. Lower vehicle.
5. Fill system. Refer to CHECKING AND ADDING FLUID. See: Service and Repair
6. Bleed the system. Refer to BLEEDING POWER STEERING SYSTEM. See: Service and Repair

Inspect

For leaks. Refer to STEERING GEAR AND PUMP LEAKS UNDER Power Steering Pump.
