Spoiler Contacts Quarter Panels when Closing Deck Lid (Add Spacers and Gasket Kit)

CONDITION
Some customers may comment that the spoiler ends contact the quarter panel when closing the deck lid.

CAUSE
This can happen, on some cars, when the outside temperature is high and the car has been in the sun for more than two hours. The spoiler absorbs heat
energy and can "droop" enough to close the design gap between the quarter panel and the spoiler ends. When the spoiler cools, it returns to its previous
shape.

CORRECTION
To address this condition, install P/N 10280057 Kit, which includes spacers and gaskets to increase the spoiler gap to quarter. Follow the instructions
included with the kit.
