Valve Guide Seal: Service and Repair
Head Off Vehicle

1. Compress valve spring using valve spring compressor tool No. J-38606, or equivalent.
2. Remove valve stem locks and release spring tension.
3. Remove valve cap, valve spring and valve stem oil seal. Wrap tape over valve lock grooves to prevent damage to valve seals.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
