Heater Hose: Service and Repair
Heater Outlet Hose/Pipe

Heater Hoses

Remove or Disconnect

1. Air cleaner and duct assembly.
2. Drain cooling system.
3. Upper intake manifold. See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair
4. Coolant recovery tank.
5. Electrical bulk head connector at front of dash.
6. Heater pipe retaining nuts and screws. 7 Heater outlet hose at front cover.
7. Heater outlet pipe hose at heater core.
8. Heater outlet Hose/pipe assembly

Install or Connect

1. Heater outlet Hose/pipe assembly.
2. Heater outlet pipe hose at heater core.

Important

Clamp position (±15 degrees) is 3 o'clock when viewed from the front of vehicle looking toward component nozzle.

3. Heater outlet hose at front cover.

Important

Clamp position (±15 degrees) is 3 o'clock when viewed from the front of vehicle looking toward component nozzle.

4. Heater pipe retaining nuts and screws.

Tighten
^

Screws to 12 N.m (107 lb. in.).

Nuts to 3.3 N.m (29 lb. in.).

5. Electrical bulk head connector at front of dash.
6. Coolant recovery tank.
7. Upper intake manifold.
8. Refill coolant system.
