Service Port HVAC: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED

J 34611-A Valve Core Remover and Installer

1. Remove the service port valve cap.
2. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging. See: Service and Repair

3. Remove the service port valve core using J 34611-A.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

IMPORTANT:  Lubricate the service port valve core O-ring with 525 refrigerant oil.
