Window Molding Replacement - Rear Door Stationary

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the rear door window outer belt sealing strip.
2. Remove the rear door window channel retainer.
3. Remove the screws from the rear door stationary window molding.
4. Slide the molding rearward at the bend in order to release the molding.
5. Pull the molding away from the stationary window module.

Some back and forth movement may be needed in order to release the rear door stationary window molding mounting pins from the door
stationary window module.

6. Remove the stationary window molding from the rear door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the rear door stationary window to the rear door.
2. Align the stationary window molding mounting pins with the retainers on the stationary window module.
3. Push the stationary window molding towards the window in order to secure the retainers.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the screws to the stationary window molding.

Tighten
Tighten the rear door stationary window molding screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
