Door Window Channel Replacement

Front Side Door Window Channel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement  See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front

2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement  See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and

Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair

3. Remove the screw from the front door window run channel.
4. Pull down to unclip the top edge of the window run channel.
5. Remove the front door window run channel from the front door.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the front window run channel to the front door.
2. Slide the channel up to engage the clip at the top edge of the window run channel.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the screws to the front window run channel.

Tighten the front window run channel screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement  See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and

Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair

5. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement  See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front
