Grand Prix V6-3.1L VIN J (2000)
1. Position the front door window regulator in the front door.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
Important: In order to ensure proper orientation of the window regulator to the door, tighten the window regulator bolts in the specified
sequence (1,2,3,4).
2. Install the regulator mounting bolts.
Tighten the front door window regulator bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
3. Connect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the tape supporting the front door window.
5. Lower the front door window far enough to gain access through the front door inner panel.
6. Install the bolts to the front door window to regulator.
Tighten the window to regulator bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
7. Install the front door inner energy absorber pad (coupe). Refer to Front Side Door Inner Panel Lower Energy Absorber Replacement (Coupe).
8. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and
Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair.
9. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front
