Front Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the front door.
2. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement  See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front

3. Remove the lower front corner of the water deflector to allow access to the front door window regulator motor.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the front door window regulator motor.

5. Remove the front door window regulator motor to door screws.
6. Position the front door window regulator motor through the access opening to allow removal of the front door window regulator motor to regulator

screws.

7. Remove the front door window regulator motor to regulator screws.
8. Remove the front door window regulator motor and bracket from the front door.

Installation Procedure

1. Align the front door window regulator motor and bracket to the front door window regulator.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the front door window regulator motor to regulator screws.

Tighten the front door window regulator motor to regulator screws to 6 Nm (53 lb in).

3. Position the front door window regulator motor through the opening in the door.
4. Install the front door window regulator motor to door screws.

Tighten the front door window regulator motor to door screws to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

5. Connect the electrical connector to the front door window regulator motor.
6. Install the lower front corner of the water deflector.

Important:  Discard the old door trim panel retainers and replace with new retainers before installing the door trim panel.

7. Install the new door trim panel retainers to the door.
8. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement  See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front

9. Close the front door.
