Do not allow the fuel pipes to come into contact with the fuel tank or underbody.

Important:  If fuel line bundle attaching hardware is damaged or broken, replace the attaching hardware.

1. Install the fuel feed and the EVAP pipes to the vehicle.
2. Install the fuel and the EVAP pipe clips to the pipes as noted during removal.

3. Connect the EVAP pipe quick-connect fitting (3) at the fuel filter area.
4. Remove the cap from the in-line fuel filter.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Important:  Use a back up wrench to prevent the fuel filter fitting from turning.

5. Install the threaded nut fitting (1) to the outlet of the in-line fuel filter.

Tighten the threaded nut fitting to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

6. Lower the vehicle.
