Description

Remove or Disconnect

1. Open instrument panel compartment door.
2. Screws from instrument panel compartment latch.
3. Retainer clip from instrument panel compartment handle using a small flat-bladed tool.
4. Instrument panel compartment handle from instrument panel compartment door.

Install or Connect

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.

1. Align instrument panel compartment handle to instrument panel compartment door.
2. Slide retainer clip on to instrument panel compartment handle.
3. Route lock rod into instrument panel compartment handle.
4. Screws to instrument panel compartment latch.

Tighten
^

Screws to 1 N.m (9 lb.in.).

5. Close instrument panel compartment door.
