Content Theft Deterrent Functions
1. Content Theft Deterrent - Activation of the vehicle Horn and Exterior Lights will occur when any door is opened while the Content Theft System
is armed. Activation of the vehicle Horn and Exterior Lights will also occur when the vehicle is impacted or the Rear Compartment Lid Release
Switch (key) is pulled out while the Content Theft System is armed. A Security Indicator Light Emitting Diode (LED) will flash continuously
while the Content Theft Deterrent System is armed.
2. Fuel Enable Control - A fuel enable signal to the vehicle Powertrain Control Module will only be provided while the Content Theft Deterrent
System is disarmed.
Illumination Functions
1. Delayed Illumination - A convenience feature intended to aid the driver by leaving the Interior Lights on for a period of time after all doors have
been closed.
2. Exit Lighting - A convenience feature intended to aid the driver in exiting the vehicle by turning on the Interior Lights for a period of time after the
key has been removed from the ignition.
3. Illumination on Door Lock Cylinder Switch Unlock - A convenience feature intended to turn on the Interior Lights for a period of time when the
driver unlocks the doors using the Door Lock Cylinder Switch.
4. Illumination on Remote Activation - A convenience feature intended to turn on the Interior Lights for a period of time when the driver activates
certain remote functions.
5. Illumination Dim to Off - Allows the Interior Lights to be smoothly changed from full brightness to off at the end of certain illumination features.
6. Inadvertent Power Control - Overhead and convenience lights are turned off in the event that they may have been inadvertently left on.
Locking Functions
1. All Door Unlock - All doors are unlocked when the driver presses "UNLOCK" on either Door Lock Switch.
2. All Door Lock - All doors are locked when the driver presses "LOCK" on either Door Lock Switch.
3. Door Lock Cylinder Switch Unlock - All doors can be unlocked from either Door Lock Cylinder Switch if rotated and held in the "UNLOCK"
position for greater than 1 second.
4. Last Door Closed Locking - A convenience feature intended to allow easy locking of the doors on exit by allowing door locking to occur after all
doors have been closed for a period of time.
5. Lockout Prevention - Power Door Locking is prevented while the keys are in the ignition and the driver's door is open.
6. Lockout Prevention Override - Lockout prevention can be overridden by pressing and holding the "LOCK" button down on either Door Lock
Switch for greater than 3 seconds.
