7. Remote Driver Door Unlock - The driver door is unlocked when the driver presses the "UNLOCK" button on the RKE Transmitter.
8. Remote All Door Unlock - All doors are unlocked when the driver presses the "UNLOCK" button two or more times on the RKE Transmitter.
9. Remote All Door Lock - All doors are locked when the driver presses the "LOCK" button on the RKE Transmitter.

10. Ignition Off Unlock - All doors are unlocked when the driver turns the ignition to "LOCK."
11. Shift into Park Unlock - All doors are unlocked when the driver shifts the transmission into "PARK."
12. Shift out of Park Lock - All doors are locked when the driver shifts the transmission out of "PARK."

Other Functions

1. Remote Activation Verification - This feature provides the driver with feedback when a valid remote command has been received by the vehicle.
2. Remote Alarm - This feature provides for the activation of the vehicle Horn and Exterior Lights when the driver presses the "ALARM" button on

the RKE Transmitter.

3. Retained Accessory Power - A convenience feature which provides accessory power for some time after the ignition is turned "LOCK" or until

either front door is opened.

4. Feature Customization -Customization of the operation of certain features based on customer preference.

Reminder Warning Functions

1. Driver Information Reminder - A brief audible warning intended to attract the driver's attention to the Driver Information Center (DIC) upon the

occurrence of a DIC warning event.

2. Headlight Reminder - An audible warning intended to remind the driver that the Headlights may have been inadvertently left on.
3. Key In Reminder - An audible warning intended to remind the driver that the keys may have been inadvertently left in the vehicle.
4. Overspeed Warning - Required for vehicles intended for export to Gulf States. An audible warning intended to remind the driver that the vehicle is

traveling faster than a certain threshold speed.

5. Seat Belt Reminder - An audible warning intended to remind the driver that the driver seat belt may have been inadvertently not buckled.
6. Seat Belt Telltale Control - A visual warning intended to remind the driver that the driver seat belt may have been inadvertently not buckled.
7. Turn Signal Reminder - An audible warning intended to remind the driver that a turn signal may have been inadvertently left on.

System Diagnosis

Refer to the Symptom Table for the appropriate diagnostic procedures.

Troubleshooting Hints

1. Check the INT LAMP Fuse for an open. If the Fuse is blown check CKT 240 for a short to ground.
2. Check the PWR LOCK Fuse for an open. If the Fuse is blown check CKT 1540 for a short to ground.
3. Check the I/P-IGN Fuse for an open. If the Fuse is blown check CKT 39 for a short to ground.
4. Check the MALL Fuse for an open. If the Fuse is blown check CKT 443 for a short to ground.
5. Check the MALL PGM Fuse for an open. If the Fuse is blown check CKT 1445 for a short to ground.
6. Check the HEADLAMP Circuit Breaker for an open. If the Circuit Breaker is blown check CKT 2440 for a short to ground.
7. Check the RADIO Fuse for an open. If the Fuse is blown check CKT 640 for a short to ground.
8. Make sure that G200 is clean and tight.
9. Check if the modes are functioning properly.

10. If a low battery condition exists you will lose all function of the Body Control Module (BCM) features and you will not be able to enter

diagnostics.

11. If you are in the diagnostic mode you can check the function of the features connected to the Body Control Module. Refer to Circuit Operation

Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a
continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be
checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
