avoid damage to parts and systems.
1. Oil pan gasket.
2. Oil pan.
3. Oil pan bolts/screws.

Tighten bolts/screws to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
4. Lower vehicle.
5. Fill transaxle with proper quantity of DEXRON(R) III.
6. Place gear selector in "Park" position.
7. Start engine and run at slow idle. Do not race the engine.
Adjust

Fluid level.
NOTICE: Do not overfill transaxle. Overfilling causes foaming and loss of fluid through the vent and may damage the automatic transaxle.
Inspect

For proper completion of repairs.

For proper fluid level.

For fluid leaks.
