Window Regulator Motor Replacement - Front Door

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door  (See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door  See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair.
3. Raise the window far enough in order to gain access to the bolts (1, 2) that attach the window to the regulator.

4. Remove the bolts (1,2) that attach the window to the regulator.
5. Raise the window to the full up position and tape in place.

6. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the power window motor by pulling out on the tab (1).
7. Remove the front door window regulator. Refer toWindow Regulator Replacement - Front Door  (See: Door Window Regulator Replacement

(Manual)) .

8. Remove the window regulator and motor through the access opening in the inner panel.
9. Remove the power window motor bolts from the window regulator.

Installation Procedure

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the power window motor bolts to the window regulator.
