Grand Prix V6-3.8L VIN 2 (2004)
Notice: Refer to Paint Damage Notice in Cautions and Notices.
1. Apply masking tape to the door frame and applique.
2. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair
3. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair) .
4. Position the window in the full down position.
5. Remove the window channel bolt (2).
6. Remove the window channel from the door.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the window channel (1) in the door.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install the window run channel bolts (2).
Tighten the bolts to 10N.m (89 lb in).
3. Inspect the window for proper operation.
4. Remove the masking tape from the frame and applique.
5. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair) .
6. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair
