This bulletin is being revised to update the warranty information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 04-06-04-025 (Section 06 -
Engine/Propulsion System).
Condition
Some owners may comment on the Malfunction Indicator lamp or Check Engine Light being illuminated. Upon investigation, the technician will find a
DTC P0455.
Cause
The current Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor may not be optimized for all conditions.
Correction
Follow the Strategy Based Diagnostics in the Service Manual. If the diagnostics lead to replacement of the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor, replace it with
new P/N 16238399.
