Power Door Lock Switch: Procedures

MIRROR, WINDOW, AND DOOR LOCK SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT:  When removing a power window switch, the ignition switch must be in the OFF position. This will eliminate the possibility of
shorting out the power window switch when using a metal tool to remove the power window switch from the wiring harness.

1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Disengage the electrical connectors from the following switches:

-

Rear compartment lid switch (1)

-

The power window switch (2)

-

The door lock switch (3)

-

The power mirror switch(4)

3. Remove the electrical harness from the trim panel.

4. Using a small, flat-bladed tool, remove the switches from the mounting bezel.
