Removal Procedure
Notice: Refer to Paint Damage Notice in Cautions and Notices.
1. Apply masking tape to the door frame applique.
2. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear

3. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and
Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the rear door window weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Window (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and
Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Weatherstrip/Service and Repair) .
5. Position the window to the full down position.
6. Remove the screw (2) from the top corner of the inside door frame.
7. Remove the rear door inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner (See: ) .
8. Pull forward to release the rear door stationary window from the door frame. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door Stationary (See: Service
and Repair) .
9. Remove the rear door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer (See: Door Window Sealing
Strip/Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
10. Remove the window channel weatherstrip by grasping the center and pulling downward to expose the rivets.
11. Drill out the 4 mm (5/32 in) rivets (2) along the inside edge of the window channel retainer (1).
12. Remove the window channel retainer from the door.
