The door will open when the lever is moved.
CORRECTION:
(SEDAN)
1.
Remove trim panel.
2.
Remove water deflector to gain access to the latch.
3.
Remove outside handle barrel nut from the latch assembly. MAKE SURE ROD IS FULLY SEATED IN THE OUTSIDE HANDLE. Adjust the
barrel nut on the end of the rod until attaching knob of nut aligns to the attaching hole in the lock lever of latch assembly.
4.
Check operation of both inside and outside handle.
5.
Reinstall water deflector and trim panel.
CORRECTION:
(COUPE)
1.
With the door open, remove bezel covering the lock rods.
2.
Remove outside handle lock rod from the door handle linkage. With the rod at ease and the linkage on the door handle in the full up position,
adjust the barrel nut until the attaching knob of the nut aligns to the attaching hole in the door handle linkage. Push forward to reinstall.
3.
Check operation of both inside and outside handle.
4.
Re-install bezel.
