A waterproof clear plastic deflector is use to seal the door inner panel and prevent entry of water into the body. The deflector is secured to the door inner
panel with pressure sensitive tape located on the outboard surface of the deflector. This allows the deflector to be peeled back as needed to service door
components.

Remove or Disconnect

1. Door trim panel.
2. Seat belt retractors.
3. Support brackets installed over the water deflector.
4. Water deflector by peeling deflector off door inner panel and removing waterproof tape.

Install or Connect

1. Water deflector to door inner panel, making sure that tabs on the bottom of deflector are in slots in bottom of door inner panel.
2. Waterproof tape over slots in bottom of door inner panel where water deflector tabs were installed.
3. Support brackets removed in step 3 of removal procedure.
4. Seat belt retractors.
5. Waterproof tape to any damaged areas of deflector.
6. Door trim panel.
