Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

BONNEVILLE & GRAND PRIX

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove left side lower trim panel.

3.

Remove instrument panel bezel attaching screws, then bezel.

4.

Pull headlight knob to ``On'' position, then remove light switch mounting plate to cluster attaching screws and pull assembly rearward.

5.

Depress switch shaft retainer and pull out knob and shaft assembly.

6.

Remove wiring connector from switch, then switch.

7.

Disassemble light switch from bracket.

8.

Reverse procedure to install.
