Grand Prix V8-5.3L (2007)
1. Clean the rear inner door panel using an oil-free naphtha or alcohol before reinstalling the energy absorber pad.
2. Remove the double backed protective tape (2) backing from the door inner energy absorber pad.
3. Install the inner energy absorber pad (1) to the door.
4. Install the rear door water deflector.
5. Install the rear door trim pad.
6. Close the door.

Removal Procedure
Notice: The ball stud must not rotate during disassembly or reassembly. Hand tools must be used to keep the ball stud from rotating. If air tools
are used and the stud is allowed to rotate, damage to the ball stud and/or stud mounting hole may occur.
1. Insert a flat-bladed tool at the lower front edge of the cover.
2. Pry out to remove the cover from the handle.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the cover in the pull handle.
