Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Upper  (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Trim

Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Upper) .

2. Remove the high mount stop light. Refer to High Mounted Stop Lamp Replacement   in Lighting Systems.

3. Remove 2 emergency lid release cable assembly retaining screws (1).
4. Pull the rear compartment emergency lid release cable assembly away from the rear window trim panel assembly.

5. Remove 3 rear window trim panel assembly retainers (1).
6. Remove 1 rear window trim panel assembly-to-rear sheet metal retainer (2).
7. Lift the front edge of the rear window trim panel assembly and feed the rear compartment lid emergency release cable through the slot in the parcel

shelf.

8. Remove the rear window trim panel assembly from the vehicle.
