Headlamp Bulb Replacement (High Beam)

HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (HIGH BEAM)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Raise the hood.

CAUTION:  Refer to Halogen Bulb Caution in Service Precautions.

2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the rear of the relevant headlamp assembly.
3. Remove the upper radiator shroud.
4. If removing the right hand high beam headlamp bulb, it may be necessary to remove the battery to gain access.

5. From within the engine compartment, remove the inboard dust cap (1) from the rear of the headlamp assembly (2) by turning the dust cap (1)

counter clockwise, and pulling it away from the headlamp assembly (2).

6. Disconnect the wiring connector (3) from the high beam bulb (1) by squeezing the 2 tabs together and pulling the wiring connector (3) down from

the high beam bulb (1).

7. Rotate the high beam bulb (1) counterclockwise and remove the high beam bulb (1) from the high beam bulb holder (2).
