Air Filter Element: Service and Repair
AIR CLEANER ELEMENT REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove 3 retainer screws securing the air cleaner upper body.
2. Remove air cleaner upper body and air cleaner filter assembly.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Reassemble the air cleaner element into the air cleaner upper body and place the upper body onto the lower air cleaner body.
2. Reinstall the 3 retaining screws securing the upper air cleaner body to the lower and tighten to the correct torque specification.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten the air cleaner upper housing to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
