Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove the front brake rotor.
4. If you are removing the left front hub, turn the steering wheel to the left. If you are removing the right front hub, turn the steering wheel to the
right.
5. Lift the locking tab on the wheel speed sensor connector (4).
6. Disconnect the connector from the knuckle.
7. If necessary in order to gain access, complete the following steps:
1. Remove and discard the 2 nuts that retain the strut to the knuckle.
2. If equipped, remove the 2 washers from the 2 bolts (1,2).
3. Remove and discard the 2 bolts.
8. Loosen the 3 Allen bolts (3,5) on the knuckle.
9. Important: Tap the Allen bolts. DO NOT strike the hub.
If necessary, tap the 3 Allen bolts in order to loosen the hub from the knuckle.
10. Remove the 3 Allen bolts and the hub from the knuckle.
