6. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the retaining bolt securing the transmission cooler pipes to the left hand front side of the engine.
Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (84 inch lbs.).
7. Install the retaining bolt securing the transmission cooler pipes to the PNP switch.
Tighten the bolt to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
8. Install the transmission mount.
9. Lower the vehicle.
10. Fill the transmission to the proper level with DEXRON(r) III transmission fluid.
11. Ensure that the engine can only be started in the PNP positions, if adjustment is necessary.
12. Check the reverse lamps for proper operation; if adjustment is necessary.
