Dimmer Switch: Description and Operation

    When the Light Switch in PARK or HEAD, voltage is supplied to the Dimmer Switch and the Lamp Dimmer Module. If the Dimmer Switch is OFF,
voltage will not be applied to any of the Instrument Panel Lights. As the Dimmer Switch is moved from LO to HI, a gradually increasing voltage is fed to
the solid state Lamp Dimmer Module. This voltage controls the amount of voltage applied through the Lamp Dimmer Module to the Instrument Panel
Lights. The Instrument Panel Lights are dimmed according to how much voltage is supplied to terminal B of the Lamp Dimmer Module.
