Troubleshooting Hints - Chime
TRY FOLLOWING CHECKS BEFORE DOING SYSTEM CHECK:
1. If Speedometer does not operate properly, refer to Vehicle Speed Sensor for diagnosis. See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control
Systems/Sensors and Switches - Computers and Control Systems/Vehicle Speed Sensor
2. Check CTSY Fuse by operating Courtesy Lights.
3. Check GAGES Fuse by operating Rear Defogger and noting ON Indicator.
4. Check Light Switch by operating Park Lights.
5. Check that ground G200 is clean and tight.
6. Check that Multi-function Alarm Module is seated properly.
