EGR Valve: Service and Repair
Digital EGR Valve
REMOVAL:
-
Remove electrical connector at solenoid.

Remove two base flange bolts and EGR.
INSTALLATION:
-
Install EGR and flange bolts finger tight.

Tighten the long bolt first to 15 Nm (11 ft lbs). Then, tighten the short bolt to 15 Nm (11 ft lbs). Repeat sequence to 30 Nm (22 ft lbs).
-
Re-connect electrical connector at solenoid.
