Evaporator Core: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Discharge air conditioning system.

3.

Remove heater core as previously outlined.

4.

Disconnect accumulator to evaporator pipe and orifice tube to evaporator at dash panel.

5.

Remove evaporator cover attaching screws, then remove evaporator cover.

6.

Remove evaporator bracket attaching screws, then remove pipe clamps.

7.

Remove evaporator core.

8.

Reverse procedure to install.
