7. Reposition the throttle cable boot.

8. Remove the C-clip retaining the TV cable adjusting pin.

9. Using a scribe or similar tool, pry up the TV cable adjusting pin, release the TV cable and allow it to move the rear adjusting point (Figure 18).

10. Depress the accelerator pedal to the floor; this adjusts the TV cable to the proper position.  The adjusting pin will secure the TV cable automatically.

11. Install the C-clip securing the TV cable adjusting pin.

12. Install the air cleaner assembly.  Refer to DRIVEABILITY AND EMISSIONS (Sec. 6E).
