Pressure Relief Valve Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper (Pontiac) (See: Bumper/Rear Bumper/Rear Bumper Cover /
Fascia/Service and Repair/Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper (Pontiac)) in Bumpers.
2. Remove the rear accessory panel. Refer to Accessory Panel Replacement - Rear (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and
Repair/Accessory Panel Replacement - Rear) in Interior Trim.
3. Use a small, flat-bladed tool in order to push on the retainers from the inside of the quarter panel.
4. Remove the pressure relief valve from the body.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the pressure relief valve to the body.
2. Push in the pressure relief valve in order to secure the retainers into the body.
3. Install the rear accessory panel. Refer to Accessory Panel Replacement - Rear (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and
Repair/Accessory Panel Replacement - Rear) in Interior Trim.
4. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper (Pontiac) (See: Bumper/Rear Bumper/Rear Bumper Cover /
Fascia/Service and Repair/Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper (Pontiac)) in Bumpers.
