COMPRESSOR PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE REPLACEMENT (WITH RPO CODE C60)

J 39400-A Halogen Leak Detector
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Recover the refrigerant from the A/C system.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
3. Remove the air baffle bolts.
4. Remove the air baffle.
5. Remove the suction hose to A/C compressor nut.
6. Disconnect the suction hose from the A/C compressor.
IMPORTANT:Immediately cap or tape the open A/C components immediately in order to prevent contamination.
7. Remove and discard the seal washer and position the suction hose aside.
8. Cap or tape the A/C compressor suction port and suction hose end fitting.
9. Lower the vehicle.
