Knock Sensor Replacement - Bank 1

Removal Procedure

1.  Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2.  Remove the radiator air baffle.
3.  Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector (1) from the knock sensor.

4.  Loosen and remove the bank 1 knock sensor (1).

Installation Procedure

Important:  DO NOT apply thread sealant to the sensor threads. The sensor threads are coated at the factory. Applying additional sealant
