TEMPERATURE GAUGE READS LOW
1985, 86 PONTIAC PARISIENNE
CONDITION:
On some 1985 and 1986 Pontiac Parisienne car models, the temperature may always read to the low end of the temperature scale.
CAUSE:
The above condition is caused by a voltage feedback when the diesel "water in fuel" light bulb is assembled into a cluster for a gasoline engine equipped
vehicle.
CORRECTION:
If this condition is encountered, remove the "water in fuel" light bulb from the rear of the cluster and discard. This bulb is only used for diesel engine
equipped vehicles.
