Rear Coil Spring

EXC. FIREBIRD

1.

Support vehicle at frame rails and support rear axle with a suitable jack.

2.

Remove brake line connector block bolt at axle housing.

3.

Release brake line from clips on axle housing as necessary.

4.

Disconnect upper control arms from axle housing, Fig. 1.

5.

Disconnect shock absorbers from lower mountings.

6.

Lower rear axle. Do not permit the rear brake hose to kink or stretch.
