7. Ensure that all components are properly aligned, apply pressure to rear housing with holding fixture forcing screw, then rotate rear housing
clockwise to lock position.
NOTE:Assembly of housing can be aided by applying vacuum to port in front housing.
8. Stake housing tabs in 2 locations, 180° apart to secure assembly, but do not reuse tabs that have already been staked.
9. Lubricate and install front housing grommets, then press check valve and vacuum switch, if equipped, into grommets.
10. Install front housing seal, silencer and boot.
