Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe Replacement (LNF)

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716)  (See: Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and

Filling (2.4L LE5 Only) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill-LNF)  (See: Service and Repair) .

2. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (LNF)  (See: Exhaust System/Catalytic Converter/Service and Repair

)Catalytic Converter Replacement (LE5).

3. Remove the turbocharger coolant return pipe bolt at the turbocharger.
4. Remove the turbocharger coolant return pipe bolt at the thermostat housing.
5. Remove the gaskets from both banjo fittings on the turbocharger coolant return pipe.
