7. Remove the oil level indicator tube bolt.
8. Remove the oil level indicator tube and indicator.
Installation Procedure
1. Lubricate the oil level indicator tube O-ring seal with lubricant. Refer to Sealers, Adhesives, and Lubricants (See: Specifications/Sealers,
Adhesives, and Lubricants) .
2. Install the oil level indicator tube to the engine block.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice) .
3. Install the oil level indicator tube bolt.
Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
