Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the ECT.

Tighten the sensor to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

2. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) to the ECT sensor.
3. Install the heat shield around the electrical connector, if necessary. 
4. Fill the cooling system as needed. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716)  (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling
