Tip
Use the J 42450 (Wheel Hub Resurfacing Kit) with a hub sanding disc to clean off the paint around the seat adjuster link arm hole as shown above.
8.
Remove the paint coating from around the adjuster link arm hole.
9.
Install the spring washer, P/N 14056708, onto the TORX(R) screw.
10.
Install the washer and TORX(R) screw into the adjuster link hole.
Tighten
Tighten the adjuster link TORX(R) screw to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
11.
Remove the support block.
12.
Push the seat cushion and seat cover down on the seat cushion frame.
13.
Attach the seat cover J-channel to the front and rear of the seat cushion frame.
14.
Install the front seat assembly back into the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement in SI.
15.
Install the left front door sill plate by seating the retaining clips.
16.
Raise the top.
