Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair
Resonator and Duct Assembly

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Air intake splash shield.
2. L.H. headlamp assembly retaining screws (2).
3. L.H. headlamp assembly.
4. L.H. headlamp electrical connector(s).
5. L.H. front intake duct upper push in retainer.
6. Resonator front push in retainer.
7. Raise vehicle.
8. L.H. front tire and wheel.
9. L.H. front engine splash shield.

10. Front air intake duct lower retaining screw.
11. Front air intake duct through headlamp assembly opening.
12. Resonator rear push in retainer and upper attaching bolt.
13. Resonator assembly through wheel house opening.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Resonator assembly through wheel house opening.
2. Resonator rear push in retainer and upper attaching bolt.

Tighten
Resonator Upper attaching bolt to 4.5 - 7 Nm (35 - 62 lb. in.). 

3. Front air intake duct through headlamp assembly opening.
4. Front air intake duct lower retaining screw.
5. L.H. engine splash shield.
6. L.H. front tire and wheel.
7. Lower vehicle.
8. Resonator front push in retainer.
9. Front intake duct upper push in retainer.

10. L.H. headlamp electrical connector(s).
11. L.H. headlamp assembly retaining screws (2).

Tighten
Headlamp assembly retaining screws to 4 - 7 Nm (35 - 62 lb. in.).

12. Air intake splash shield.
