Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the air cleaner outlet splash shield.
2. Remove the LH headlamp assembly retaining screws.
3. Remove the LH headlamp assembly.
4. Disconnect the LH headlamp electrical connectors.
5. Remove the front air cleaner intake duct upper push in retainer (1).
6. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
7. Remove the LF tire and wheel.
8. Remove the LF wheel house panel.
9. Remove the front air cleaner intake duct lower push in retainer (4).
10. Remove the front air cleaner intake duct (3) through headlamp assembly opening.
11. Remove the resonator rear push in retainer and upper attaching bolt (5).
12. Remove the resonator assembly through wheel house opening.
