Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear fascia upper screw covers.
3. Remove the rear fascia upper retaining screws from the rear fascia.
4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.

5. Remove the screws from the rear fascia inner edge of the quarter panel.
6. Remove the screws from the rear fascia lower corner of the quarter panel.

7. Remove the center pins on each of the four retaining clips to release the retaining clips from the lower center of the rear fascia.
8. Perform the following steps to remove the rear fascia:

1. Put down a protective cover to prevent damage to the rear fascia.
2. Pull both corners of the rear fascia away from the quarter panel and the retainers with the aid of a helper.
3. Pull the rear fascia from the center of the rear impact bar to remove the rear fascia.

9. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear fascia.

10. Remove the electrical harness from the rear fascia.
11. Remove the rear license plate lamp socket and bulb.
