9. Remove the cable eyelet fitting from the rear park brake lever (16).

10. Remove the conduit fitting from the backing plate (11) while depressing the retaining tabs.

Installation Procedure 

1. Install the conduit fitting into the backing plate (11).
2. Install the parking brake cable to the parking brake lever (16).
3. Install the brake drum. 
4. Install the tire and wheel assembly. 

5. Install the cable (1) to the axle bracket (2).

6. Connect the right rear cable (2) to the connector (1).
7. Reposition the tang on the connector (1) to hold cable in place.
8. Lower the vehicle.
